What Does Mobility Mean During COVID-19?

Mobility – now more than ever – means safely transporting people, food, and medical supplies to the right destinations at the right time to care for people and save lives.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues its threateningly life-altering spread around the world, several Let’s Talk Self-Driving partners in Phoenix are scaling up their services to meet the urgent needs of their communities in the face of this unprecedented crisis.

Together we can support them as they continue providing a lifeline to those who urgently need it.

What is Let's Talk Self-Driving doing during this time?

Let’s Talk Self-Driving is shining a light on the good work our partners are doing and continuing to provide a platform for them to tell their stories.

Please consider supporting one of these Let’s Talk Self-Driving partners.

Foundation for Senior Living

The Foundation for Senior Living serves a community of mostly older adults – individuals who are at higher risk of severe complications from COVID-19 – and is facing a surge in demand for its services, from food delivery and phone check-ins to emergency transportation and supplies for in-home medical staff.

FSL expects its daily operating expenses to increase by 25%. At the same time, they have been forced to indefinitely delay their only annual fundraiser.

Please support FSL as they support Arizona seniors.

The Foundation for Blind Children

The Foundation for Blind Children provides educational and support services to people who are blind, from children to adults. In many cases, this population depends on friends, loved, ones, or public transportation for basic, day-to-day mobility.

Let’s Talk Self-Driving has made a donation to ensure FBC students have access to the services they need to continue learning during this time.
